So, over the past week i have had a couple more scans to determine progress and effectiveness of radiotherapy. Unfortunately last week's CT scan has shown that the cancer from colon has now spread to liver. They were always surprised that hadnt happened so it was something we feared and partly expected.
TThenhen yesterday i had a further MRI scan which ahowed the tumours in my head have doubled in volume, especially the one in the right hemisphere of my brain which is slowly affecting the left side of my body and is responsible for the seizures. The specialist nuerosurgeon who looked at the scans described it as some of the most aggressive tumours he had ever seen
So now we have a week to decide whether to press on with chemo and the possible side effects, or try to get as much normallity back as possible and focus on making memories.
